This organization was founded in 2005 because a group of Nigerians living in Frederick saw a need for preserving the Nigerian cultural values and tradition even while living in a foreign land. NIF remains a cultural group committed to sharing, promoting and preserving our Nigerian values through community outreach and building connections. The association is open to all people of Nigerian heritage (and those married to Nigerians) living and working in Frederick and its environs. We celebrate our diversity as humans and unity as Nigerians contributing to the growth of Frederick and the United States
