Association of Nigerians in Frederick has been selected as a partner community organization to serve on the ENOUGH Advisory Council. Advisory Council members are partner community organizations that work with Frederick County, the City of Frederick, and multiple community organizations to undertake the Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments and Households (ENOUGH) Initiative.

This program was created by Governor Wes Moore to help communities across the state of Maryland find ways to fight poverty in their neighborhoods. The Frederick County ENOUGH Initiative is a plan to help end child poverty in the city’s lowest income neighborhoods. This plan is being created with input from people who live along the Golden Mile, along with help from government and private organizations. Our work is focusing on the Golden Mile area. Please visit the ENOUGH Initiative website to learn more.
